People are urged to allow extra time for their journey if they are heading to New Year’s Eve celebrations in St George’s.

Manual traffic control will be operating on Swing Bridge, the Ministry of Public Works has advised.

A statement said: “Drivers are urged to co-operate fully with the directions given by ministry staff in the interests of traffic safety and to drive with extra caution over the bridge, taking care for their safety and the safety of others.”
