Utility Ascendant Group closed up 15 cents (3.2 per cent) at $4.85 after 1,362 shares traded.

The Bank of Butterfield was unchanged at $2 after 6,874 shares were exchanged.

And insurance firm BF&M was also unchanged at $17 after 3,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed up 1.42 points (0.11 per cent) at 1,334.46.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 6.64 points (0.40 per cent) at 1,640.42.
