Bermuda Culinary Arts Festival Event

The third preliminary round of the Escoffier Cup 2004 cooking competition at International Imports on Par-la-Ville Road. Audience members receive wine and samples of the chefs' dishes. Tickets are $50 and are available from International Imports. The final will be held on November 13 at the Bermuda Culinary Arts Festival at the Fairmont Southampton Princess from November 10-16. The Bermuda Guild of Stitchery presents a show of work and a sale of handmade items at the Mount Saint Agnes auditorium from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Tickets are $5. Refreshments and all proceeds are donated to PALS. For more information, contact Gail Rego at 236-3410.

One Vision Promotions will be holding a walk -a - thon in aid of another One Vision Community Football Tournament for the Hamilton Parish community. The walk will depart at 8.30 a.m. from Shelly Bay Parking Lot to Blue Hole Hill and back to Shelly Bay. Donations will be greatly appreciated in order to raise funds for necessary equipment. Masterworks Foundation ‘Up Front Street'

Bermuda Society of Arts, City Hall

Caroline Troncossi with her exhibition The Colour of Chords opens on Friday night. Her art has been influenced by the visual responses to sounds.

Kafu Gallery

The show Painting by Numbers features artists Manuel Palacio and Glen Wilks. Mr. Palacio has did a series of landscapes. The exhibit opens on Friday evening at 5.30 p.m. at Kafu Gallery, on Parliament Street, Hamilton. Guests are asked to RSVP on 295-5238.

The Bermuda Calendar is a free daily listing of events staged by civic groups, charities, service and similar non-profit organisations.

Written entries for the Calendar, which must include a contact number, may be left at The Royal Gazette any time during the week.

Deadline for any Calendar period is noon on the Friday immediately preceding the Tuesday edition. Entries cannot be accepted after that time.
