Fu School recently returned from the Great Lakes Kung Fu Championship

Earning silver were Donnisha Gardner (junior advanced forms), Arian Franks (junior advanced forms), Philpott (teen advanced form), while third were Anwar Telford (junior advanced forms), and Arian Franks (junior advanced weapons).

Also putting in outstanding performances were Taraya Philpott and Rayel Bowen, who fell just short of the podium.

The students will also be among a group that will travel on a study tour to Shaolin Temple in China next year.

CRICKET CRI Saltus First XI recorded a pair of victories in recent high school cricket action.

Saltus scored emphatic triumphs over Mount Saint Agnes and Saltus Second XI, both times chasing modest scores.

The Pembroke school defeated MSA by 10 wickets, as they replied to 55-for-seven with 61 without loss. This was followed by an eight-wicket win as they registered 89 for two in reply to their schoolmates' 84 for eight from 25 overs. Another recent match saw Warwick Academy defeat Berkeley by 37 runs, registering 147 for seven and then bowling Berkeley out for 110.

Due to the unavailability of Lord's, this Sunday's Commercial Cricket League match between St. David's and Devonshire Stars has been switched to Garrison Field. The game between Leg Trappers and North Village will now be played at Police Field.
