Time’s almost up for Spring League sign-up
Time and space is running out if you want to sign up for the Bermuda Volleyball Association’s Spring League.Registration opened on Monday, and already 20 of the 36 available spots have been filled.Teams have until Sunday to enter, and the cost is $350 for a team or $87 for a single player.Players without a team can still sign up and will be placed with other teams who are short, or combined with other individual players to make a team.There will be a beginners division and a division for more experienced players, with games taking place at Saltus field on Tuesdays, at 6pm.The first round of matches will be on March 29.If you’ve spent the winter hibernating, and feel you’ll be too rusty for the Spring League, but want to get ready for the always popular Summer League on the beach the BVA will also be running an adult skills clinic on Wednesday, March 30.The clinic will run from 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the Mount Saint Agnes Gymnasium and will be a great opportunity for players to brush up on their core skills.All Bermuda Volleyball Association leagues and clinics require current BVA membership.Not a member?
