A total of 19,900 shares worth $82,770 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX.

The Bank of Butterfield was up four cents at $1.89 after 4,000 shares were exchanged.

Insurance firm BF&M remained at $17 after 400 shares traded.

Utilities firm Ascendant Group was unchanged at $5 after 6,500 shares moved.

And telecoms company KeyTech was also unchanged at $3.99 after 9,000 shares changed hands.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 17.65 points (1.38 per cent) at 1,297.54.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 0.57 points (0.04 per cent) at 1,614.50.
