A fraud trial was delayed again yesterday following more difficulties selecting a jury.Puisne Judge Charles-Etta Simmons adjourned the case, in which Kyril Burrows and Delcina Bean-Burrows are accused of defrauding Government of more than $553,000 between them, after finding it impossible to pick 12 people able to sit in a courtroom for up to ten weeks.For the second consecutive day, Mrs Justice Simmons adjourned matters so that a new panel of potential jurors could be found for this morning.Mr Burrows, a former Works and Engineering employee, and his wife Mrs Bean-Burrows have pleaded not guilty to 35 charges between 2005 and 2008.They encompass allegations of cheating, obtaining money transfers by deception, obtaining property by deception, money laundering and false accounting.The pair are jointly charged with 18 counts in respect of more than $295,000, with Mr Burrows charged alone in 15 allegations relating to more than $258,000.
