charged separately with importing drugs.

Seventeen-year-old Miah Jade Lewis admitted importing diamorphine, commonly known as heroin.

She also pleaded guilty to possessing heroin intended for supply. The alleged offences occurred on February 25.

Also at the Supreme Court arraignments was 26-year-old New Yorker Jennifer Ann Scott for two alleged cocaine offences on February 6.

She denied importing cocaine -- with a street value of more than $34,000 -- and possessing it with intention to supply.

Mr. Justice Ward remanded the women in custody and adjourned their cases for mention until June 2.

Meanwhile, a social inquiry report has been ordered on 17-year-old Dwayne Andre Coddington, of Whale Bay, Southampton, who pleaded guilty to robbery.

It is alleged he armed himself with a knife to rob Stephen Bailey of cash and a gold chain, worth a total of $195, in Warwick on January 31.

Coddington also admitted assaulting Diana Chudleigh while attempting to rob her on February 1.

And he pleaded guilty to attempting to rob Gregory Smith on February 3. He was remanded in custody and ordered to reappear at court on June 2.

Also before Chief Justice Ward yesterday were: David Alexander Diggins, 49, of Somerset, accused of falsifying the information on a loan form and supporting documents. A Supreme Court jury recently was unable to reach a verdict on the charge. Diggins was employed at the Bank of Butterfield as a senior manager responsible for international loans. His case was set for November 4 and bail was extended; Damon Quincy Deroza, 20, of Cedar Hill, Warwick, charged with the premeditated murder of his child, five-year-old Lynae Brown. He was remanded in custody and must return to court for mention on June 2; Justis Raham Smith, 17, of Deepdale Road East, Pembroke, accused of the premeditated murder of Canadian teenager Rebecca Middleton, was remanded in custody and ordered to appear again on July 1; Albert Stuart Nisbett, of East Gate Lane, Pembroke, who is charged with causing the death of Antonio DeFrias by dangerous driving. His bail was extended and he must stand trial on August 4; and Glenn Robinson, from Southampton, who is charged with causing the death of former Permanent Secretary of Home Affairs Ernest Dennis Owen. His bail was extended and an August 4 trial date fixed.
