Crew of the Carefree IV found safe and well
Two Bermudian sailors who have been missing for two weeks have been found safe and well 150 miles off the Island.The sailors, 41-year-old Carlos Rogers and 36-year-old Kwesi Hollis, set sail from the Dominican Republic on December 1 aboard the S/V Carefree IV.According to the Bermuda Maritime Operations Centre, they were last seen on December 18. At that time, they were reportedly running low on food and water.Tonight a spokesman for the Centre said they received a call from the M/V Bay Ranger at 4.26pm.The Captain of the ship said they had been in VHF radio telephone contact with the S/V Carefree IV in position approximately 150 nautical miles southeast of BermudaHe added: "The crew were safe and well, though tired and requested provisions and fresh water to continue their voyage to Bermuda, which M/V Bay Ranger provided."
