The 19th Annual BF&M Breast Cancer Walk to support the Bermuda Cancer and Health Centre is less than a week away.

The October 21 event is one of several lined up to mark Breast Cancer Awareness month.

All funds raised by the walk will go towards the centre’s various charity outreach initiatives, including the Equal Access Fund, which provides financial support for uninsured and underinsured to receive recommended cancer screenings.

Funds will also be used to run the charity’s education and awareness programmes, which offer free cancer information to the public.

This year’s walk is scheduled to start at Barrs Bay Park with participants asked to pay a $30 registration fee. Walkers can register online at www.racedayworld.com.
