A teenager was yesterday charged with having unlawful carnal knowledge of a minor.The incident allegedly happened between April 1 and April 3 this year in Sandys.Neither the 13-year-old female victim nor the defendant can be identified for legal reasons.The 18-year-old defendant was not asked to offer a plea in Magistrates' Court yesterday the matter must be heard in Supreme Court.Senior Magistrate Archibald Warner released the defendant on $5,000 bail on condition that he does not contact the victim either directly or indirectly.He is expected to return to Magistrates' Court in January for mention.
