TARGET SHOOTING SHO Ross Roberts recorded a score of 193 to win the weekly shoot at Prospect Range on Wednesday, hosted by the Coral Reefs Rifle and Pistol Club.
Eugene Robinson and Nelson Simons were joint second on 188.
SNOOKER SNO Robert Gaglio won this year's Super Six Knockout Tournament on Wednesday night by beating Steven Roberts in the final match.
Potting well, Gaglio had no easy run as he had to defeat Roger (Sticks) Henderson, Tyler Moniz and Stanley Hill to make it into the final. Roberts also had a rough run, as he defeated former Bermuda Open champions Paul Charleton and Greg Falzone.
The awards ceremony following the knockout saw National Sports Club taking the prize as league champions, Tony DeSilva as aggregate winner and Steve Dunleavy for his high break of 37.
The Bermuda Snooker Association's annual general meeting will be held on September 23 at Old Colony Club (7.30 p.m.). Any club or other organisation wishing to enter a team in the league must be present.

GOLF GLF A small but strong field have signed up for the Bermuda Golf Association's 62nd Bermuda Ladies Amateur Championship to be played at the Mid Ocean Club course from October 5-9.
So far the association has received confirmation from 12 overseas golfers, predominantly of the New England and New York areas. The majority have handicaps ranging from two to 18 and it is anticipated that they will provide quite a challenge for the Bermuda women in this match play tournament.
Shirley Wildi heads a local list that also includes the likes of Jean Mylrea and Molly NcNichol.
This year the handicap limit has been raised to 25 for what has become a popular event on the golfing calendar.

FISHING FSH Blue Waters Anglers Club of Bermuda on Wednesday came from behind to defeat Sea and Surf Anglers Club of Boston by 233 points and win their annual fishing tournament held in Boston.
The competition, held in the waters of Falmouth, Cape Cod, saw the Bermuda team trailing by 500 points going into the final day and eventually obtain victory with a fine day's haul. Bermuda finished with 10,518 points against 10,285 compiled by the host club.
Bermuda also won the tournament held here last year.
