Ready for the ProfitZone
Following a launch management describes as "overwhelming'' and the rapid accumulation of a solid customer base, the company is preparing for its second stage: the ProfitZone.
DesktopDollars is a wholly owned subsidiary of Aryval.com, Ltd. (pronounced arrival), which is headquartered in Bermuda with offices in Philadelphia and Ft. Lauderdale, Florida.
The ProfitZone, a patent-pending innovation, remains the top window on customers' computer display screen, no matter what other programmes they may be running. "Other programmes, such as AllAdvantage.com, require the user to actively surf the Web in order to get paid,'' explained Peter Perri, founder and chief executive officer of DesktopDollars.
"In the ProfitZone, once you minimise your browser, the meter stops,'' said Mr. Perri. "DesktopDollars is completely different. Write a letter, surf the web, pay your bills, check your e-mail, play solitaire -- as long as you're connected to the Web, you get paid,'' he explained.
DesktopDollars is a Web site that will pay members to display an advertising bar (the ProfitZone) on their computer's screen while connected to the Web.
Members can also earn additional income by referring new members.
"Response to our launch announcement has been overwhelming,'' aid Mr. Perri.
"Now that we've built up a solid, core membership, we can move on to the second phase of development: offering our revolutionary advertising display technology, in the ProfitZone.'' Mr. Perri estimates DesktopDollars' advertising programme will begin by winter 1999.
"We expect to be able to offer advertisers targeted demographics such as age, gender, zip code, birthday, travel preferences and a host of other criteria.
