Butterfield shares fall by a cent

A total of 11,900 shares worth a total of $96,390 today traded on the Bermuda Stock Exchange (BSX).
The Bank of Butterfield saw 6,900 shares move, leaving its price down one cent (0.6 per cent) at $1.78.
Bank of Butterfield preference shares also dropped after 70 traded. The share fell 12 cents to $1,137.16.
And insurance firm BF&M fell six cents (0.4 per cent) to $16.78 after 5,000 shares changed hands.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index closed down 4.86 points (0.39 per cent) at 1,228.46.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day at 1,569.33 — up 4.66 points (0.3 per cent).
