The Bank of Butterfield closed the day one cent up (0.6 per cent) at $1.80, after 10,510 of its shares were traded.

Insurance firm Argus fell 20 cents (5 per cent) to close at $3.80, after 300 shares sold.

The Royal Gazette/BSX closed up 0.49 points (0.04 per cent) at 1,233.82.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day down 4.74 points (0.30 per cent) at 1,554.19.
