Michael MacLean, below, in his affidavit says that a number of developers had submitted proposals to the Corporation of Hamilton to develop the waterfront, including a group led by Sir John Swan.

Nonetheless, in September 2012, a waterfront steering committee, which included both a former premier and the former Mayor of Hamilton, awarded a contract to MacLean and his group.

Are we going to be shown the minutes of that meeting? Bermuda needs to know what the rationale was of awarding a contract to a man with credentials as flimsy as Mac Lean’s.
