Man denies breaking into four properties

A Sandys man denied stealing items worth more than $7,990 from four properties and taking a motorcycle without consent when he appeared in Magistrates’ Court this morning.

Rayshun Edwards, 25, allegedly entered a Parsonage Lane, Sandys, property as a trespasser and stole items worth $1,697 on July 4.

He is also accused of stealing items worth $2,050 from a Gibb’s Hill, Southampton, residence, and items to the value of $700 from a property on the Railway Trail in Southampton on January 8.

On January 5, Mr Edwards allegedly stole $3,550 worth of items from a Church Road, Southampton, residence and he is also accused of taking a cycle without consent in Devonshire on November 25 last year.

Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo remanded Mr Edwards into custody and adjourned the matter to August 3 for mention.
