Lawrence DeSilva made breaks of 39, 28 and 26 to lead Sandys Sports Club I to a 6-1 victory over Warwick WC in latest Bermuda Snooker League play.

The victory moved Sandys to within just one point of First Division leaders Old Colony Club I.Queens Club I also moved to within a point of the leaders after blasting Oold Colony Club I 5-2.

In Second Division play Nick Warren also made a hat-trick as OCC IV shocked previous leaders Police 5-2. The loss left Police one game behind Queens II.

Cory Powell snatched a hat-trick for Queens as they vaulted into the division lead with a 5-2 victory over OCC III.

Draw for the first round of the Gosling Cup knockout competition on Wednesday is as follows: OCC I v WWC, OCC III v Sandys III, SPBC v Police, OCC II v QC I.

BOWLING BOW Reggie Saunders rolled a 597 men's high series and second high game of 207 but his fine effort still wasn't sufficient to prevent Bs and Gs from going down to a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Captain's Lounge in Mixed Majors Bowling League play on Tuesday.

Millie Waldron rolled a women's 541 high series as Untouchables beat Strikers 4-0. Strikers' Margie Lynch had second high series of 537 and team-mate Carolyn Welch had second high game of 204.

Women's high game honours went to Peaches Perinchief with her 206 effort spearheading Mix Ups to a 3-1 triumph over Trojans.

Kathy Christopher scored a third high game of 195 to lead Dynamic to a 3-1 victory over Last Minutes.

Kendall Minors recorded men's second high series of 571 and a 206 third high game as Dolphins blasted Strippers 4-0. Also doing well for Dolphins was Glenn Tuzo with a men's high game of 236.

In the other game Troublemakers beat Royals 3-1.

JUNIOR GOLF GLF Junior Golf Association play at St. George's last Saturday saw Kwami Caisey card an excellent 45 over 11 holes to finish ahead of Chris Roy and Daisha Haxton (52 , Roy taking second place on retrogression.

At Southampton Princess, Jarryd Dillas shot 37 over nine holes to lead the way in novice play. Tyler Marshall was second on 40 with Daniel Dickinson third on 43, beating out Michael Watts on retrogression.

The next BJGA tournament will be at Ocean View next Saturday.

ROAD RACING RUN Swan's Running Club will hold their monthly meeting at the Department of Youth and Sport on Tuesday, starting at 7.00 p.m.
