Andrew Trott fired an impressive four-over-par 75 at Port Royal to lead the way in Group Five of Bermuda Junior Golf Association action last Saturday.
Trott edged out David James by one shot with Neil Fenton another stroke back in third place.
Group Four play saw Jarryd Dillas take first place with 79, followed by Scott Roy on 83 and Ted Terceira on 84.
Anthony Smith led Group Three with 41 over nine holes. He was one shot lower than Jonathan Hayes with Zachary Simmons two shots back on 44.
At Ocean View, Jason Correia took the honours with an impressive 39 over nine holes. Alex Doyle was two shots behind, followed in third spot by William Tucker on 42.
Laura Robinson carded 27 over six holes to win Group One. Alan Outerbridge was second on 31. Jerome Overbey edged Ryan Swan for third on retrogression, both firing 35.
In novice play at Belmont, Daniel Ezekiel carded 30 over six holes, beating out Camiko Smith (31) and John Neal (32).
This Saturday Group Five players should report for coaching to Allan Lindo at Castle Harbour at 2.00 p.m.; Group Three should report to Eric Robinson at Ocean View at 2.00 p.m. for merit testing; and Group Four to Robinson at Ocean View at 4.00 p.m. for merit testing.
ROAD RUNNING RUN Runners hoping to qualify for January's Bank of Butterfield Mile finals can pick up entry forms for the heats at Sportseller, The Pro Shop, The New Winners Edge and Sports-R-Us.
The mile trials will be held at the National Sports Centre on Saturday, December 6, at 1.00 p.m. and on Sunday, December 7 at 10 a.m. Entry forms should be returned by 5.00 p.m. on Friday, November 28.
