The Royal Gazette/BSX closed down 0.19 points (0.02 per cent) at 1,246.94.

A total of 8,600 shares in Bermuda Press Holdings, the parent company of The Royal Gazette, changed hands with its price down 15 cents (2.1 per cent) at $6.85.

The Bank of Butterfield saw 8,568 shares move, leaving its price unchanged at $1.75.

And 25 Bank of Butterfield preference shares also traded, moving the price up 50 cents at $1,135.50.

The BSX Insurance Index ended the day up 4.18 points (0.26 per cent) at 1,620.80.
