Rawlins hits half-century

Delray Rawlins scored a half-century in Sussex’s first innings during their Bob Willis Trophy match against Surrey at the Kia Oval.

The Bermuda all-rounder, batting at No 4, struck 64 off 88 balls, including six fours and two sixes as Sussex scored 415 runs all out off 118.3 overs.

Opening batsman Tom Haines top scored for the visiting side with 117 from 249 balls.

In reply, Surrey are 174 for four wickets after the second day of four. Rawlins bowled six overs of his slow left-arm for 37 runs.

Sussex are fifth in their six-team table, having won one of their four matches.
