Body found in Warwick named as George Simons
A man whose body was found on St Mary’s Road in Warwick has been identified as 57-year-old George Simons.
A police spokesman said: “Initial details were limited, however it now appears that Mr Simons was found in an unresponsive state outside a property in the St Mary’s Road, Warwick area around 7.20pm Friday by a member of the public, who called 911.”
Emergency services subsequently attended the scene and Mr Simons was taken via ambulance to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The spokesman said that there were no suspicious circumstances reported, but that police are making inquiries into the death.
