XL Group will be providing one of the speakers at a New York conference focusing on disruptive trends in financial services.

Tom Hutton, the managing partner and director of XL Innovate, an XL-sponsored venture capital initiative, is due to speak at the Sanford C Bernstein & Co’s Disruptive Trends in Financial Services conference, which will be held at the Grand Hyatt at Grand Central Station on Tuesday.

XL Innovate is focused n making investments in companies with businesses that address the world’s most complex risk and ensuring the relevancy of the insurance industry today and into the future, the company said in a statement.
