October 9, 2012Dear Sir,Just heard the radio news and the Minister doing a proclamation recognising 200 years of postal service in Bermuda.So much misinformation comes from the present Government Ministers and their members, I guess if you make statements they eventually become factual.According to "Stanley Gibbons Stamp Catalogue" the bible for stamp collectors, Perot issued stamps between 1845 and 1854. I believe the first postage stamps issued by Great Britain occurred in 1840.The sooner we can get rid of these spin doctors and get Bermuda back on the right path, the better we will be.The National Debt must be reduced and unnecessary spending eliminated.ANTONY SIESEPaget
