Wall collapse near Paget stoplights

Traffic will have to proceed with “great caution” as repair work starts tomorrow near the Paget stoplights after a wall collapsed below South Road.
The fall occurred just to the east of the junction. To go ahead with repairs, Public Works will divert westbound traffic onto the sidewalk.
“This will require traffic to travel with great caution and at a reduced speed,” a spokeswoman said.
“The ministry encourages motorists to use, where possible, Harbour Road to help minimise the disruption at the Paget traffic light location. It is anticipated that the works will take about a week to complete.”
