Politicians extend condolences
Leaders from across the political divide have extended their condolences to the family of La-Nae Woodley who was killed in a hit-and-run crash in the early hours of Saturday.
Premier Michael Dunkley said, “I want to extend my sincerest and deepest condolences to the family of La-Nae Woodley. The circumstances of her death are very tragic and heartbreaking.
“I have been kept abreast of the Police investigation and subsequent developments of the incident. I want to encourage anyone with information to please come forward and assist the Police with the ongoing investigation.”
Shadow Public Safety Minister Walter Roban said: “The Bermuda Progressive Labour Party extends our condolences to the family of La-Nae Woodley.
“Any loss of life is one too many, but to hear that someone so young has passed away in this manner is particularly painful to hear.
“We call on our community to support and comfort the family and friends of Ms Woodley as they come to terms with their loss. Let them know that the community is there to comfort, support and assist them.
“Anyone who has information that is related to this incident should contact and cooperate with the Bermuda Police Service at the earliest opportunity.”
Shawn Crockwell, Minister of Transport added: “I would like to extend my deepest sympathy and heartfelt condolences to the friends and family of Ms. La-Nae Woodley. This is tragic and I am very saddened by this unfortunate incident.
“My thoughts and prayers are with everyone who has been impacted by this accident.”
