Firefighters last night tackled a brush fire, which was spotted in the Orange Valley Road area of Devonshire.
According to a Bermuda Fire and Rescue Service (BFRS) spokesman, the service received reports of the blaze shortly after 11pm.
Sergeant Jamal Albuoy said fire trucks from both the Hamilton station and the Port Royal station attended the scene, where they discovered a 40 square foot area of brush ablaze.
BFRS personnel extinguished the blaze and secured the scene by wetting down the surrounding areas. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
