Estwanik climbs the ranks at Validus
Top runner Chris Estwanik has notched up another victory.
For the marathon man has been promoted to from assistant vice-president, US property underwriter to vice-president at Validus Re.
A spokesman for the firm said Mr Estwanik, who has been with the firm since 2007, was “an integral part” of the US property team.
Mr Estwanik was one of three promotions announced by the firm.
Mark Robinson, assistant vice-president international property underwriter, will also become a vice-president in the same sector.
He has been with the firm since 2009.
And Cameron Maffit, who started at Validus five years ago as a reserving actuary, has been bumped up to assistant vice-president, specialty and marine underwriter from his current role as specialty and marine underwriter.
Validus Re CEO Kean Driscoll said: “These promotions reflect the hard work and valuable contributions that Chris, Mark and Cameron have made for Validus.
