Bank’s shares finish lower

Bank of Butterfield dropped two cents after 9,959 shares changed hands.
The 1 per cent drop left the bank’s share price at $1.97.
And 900 shares in Ascendant Group, the parent company of power firm Belco, were also sold, leaving its price unchanged at $5.40.
In the international business listings, 26,715 shares in HSBC Holdings PLC worth $233,756 were traded, moving the price 15 cents higher (1.74 per cent).
The Royal Gazette/BSX closed 9.44 points down (0.69 per cent) at 1,352.61.
The BSX Insurance Index ended the day seven points up (0.45 per cent) at 1,563.73.
