Shares of Bermuda Aviation Services rose by five cents (1.7 per cent) to close at $3.00 after 3,500 were traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. The Index was up 4.94 points (0.36 per cent) at 1,365.90.

The other mover for the day was shares of Butterfield Bank, which improved by one cent (0.5 per cent) to close at $1.99 after 106,250 were exchanged.

In the insurance sector there were 1,300 shares of Argus Group traded, and 700 shares of BF&M changing hands, but with no change to the closing price of either stock.

The BSX Insurance Index was up 8.04 points (0.52 per cent) at 1,563.31.
