Irish eyes are smiling! Freemasons dominate spotlight
Freemasons on the Grand Registry of Ireland (GRI) have been dominating the spotlight in Bermuda this week, hosting the Most Wor. Bro. George Dunlop on his first official visit to the island as the M.W.Grand Master of the Grand Lodge of Ireland.
He came especially to attend the fourth annual meeting of the Provincial Grand Lodge of Bermuda under Rt. Wor. Bro. St. Clair Brinkworth (Brinky) Tucker, and to highlight the Centennial Celebrations of Abercorn Lodge, No. 123.
Accompanied from Dublin by the Grand Secretary of the Grand Lodge, R.W. Bro. D. Barry Lyons, the Grand Master attended two formal banquets in Hamilton, lunch in Somerset as well as in St. George's, the latter hosted by Hannibal Lodge especially to honour its oldest VW George Welch.
The Provincial Grand Lodge of Bermuda (IC) under Rt. Wor. Bro. Sinclair B. Tucker effected a most impressive ritual at the fourth annual meeting honouring their visiting Grand Master and Grand Secretary from Dublin.
The distinguished visitors are seen with officers and members of Abercorn Lodge No123 which is celebrating the 100th year of its existence.
