Police report four road accidents in two days

Four accidents were reported in the past two days, including one involving a driver who fled the scene of a crash in Hamilton Parish.Police say first responders arrived to the single vehicle collision at the junction of Harrington Sound Road and Wilkinson Avenue around 2pm on Monday.The driver had left the area and was believed to be injured, while the car received extensive damage after crashing into a wall.In a separate incident, police responded to an accident at South Road and Lovers Lane in Paget around 12.17pm yesterday. It appears one vehicle was leaving Lover’s Lane when it collided with another on South Road, causing a car to hit a wall.No one was injured but both vehicles were extensively damaged and traffic was delayed.Another crash happened at the junction of Somerset Road and Scaur Hill Drive in Sandys around 4.25pm on Monday.It appears the car, driven by a 39-year-od Somerset man, was heading east when it crashed with a wall. The man was not injured, however, the car received moderate damage.The fourth crash happened at the junction of North Shore Road and Store Hill, in Hamilton Parish and involved two vehicles. Police said a car and a truck were travelling along North Shore Road when they collided at 2.27am on Monday.Neither the driver of the car, a 37-year-old Pembroke man, of the driver of the truck, a 44-year-old Pembroke man, was hurt.Both vehicles were moderately damaged.
