Butterfield shares fall

The Bank of Butterfield fell one cent (0.5 per cent) to $1.99 after 17,133 of its shares traded on The Royal Gazette/BSX.
A total of 1,000 shares in Ascendant Group, the parent of power firm Belco, also sold, leaving the firm up 10 cents (1.8 per cent) at $5.60.
And 30 shares in the Government $50 million 4.75 per cent bond moved, leaving the price unchanged at $100.
The Royal Gazette/BSX finished the day on 1,372.18, down 3.85 points (0.28 per cent).
The BSX Insurance Index closed at 1,547.78, up 6.32 points (0.41 per cent).
