Argus plans Wii U giveaway at home show

Allison Hill, Argus Group CEO

The Argus Group will again host a booth at the thirteenth annual Coldwell Banker Home Show at CedarBridge Academy on Friday and Saturday. The company will showcase Thrive, an innovative nutrition, fitness and wellness strategy that was launched last month in collaboration with Johns Hopkins Medicine International (JHMI).

Thrive is designed to improve the health of Bermuda’s workforce. Thrive participants are able to use a range of supportive tools and services to help them to design a personal health and fitness programme. Thrive programmes are based on several critical components, including lifestyle management, physical activities, reward programmes and progress tracking. Those with more critical health needs can work directly with a nurse advocate to help them to better manage their health.

Argus encourages visitors to this year’s Coldwell Banker Home Show to visit booths 23 and 24. Visitors can learn about Thrive and participate in a physical fitness challenge on Wii Sports Club. Each day, winners of the challenge will be entered into a raffle for the chance to win a Wii U Console with the Just Dance game.

“Argus is pleased to participate in this year’s Coldwell Banker Home Show and we are looking forward to showcasing Thrive, our new wellness initiative that is designed to encourage people to lead healthier lives,” said Alison Hill, the chief executive officer of the Argus Group. “Thrive is for everyone, from individuals interested in improving or maintaining their health to those with critical illness in need of more assistance.

“You don’t have to be an athlete to thrive. Even the smallest effort — like turning off the TV and spending time being active as a family — can be beneficial.

“Visitors to our booth will learn how Thrive can help them take steps to a healthier lifestyle. We work with participants every step of the way on their journey to healthy living. We believe that better health care equals lower health costs.”

The Coldwell Banker Home Show features more than 50 local businesses. The start times are from 3pm to 8pm on Friday and from 9am to 4pm on Saturday.
