The Bermuda Brazilian Football School, in partnership with the Bank of Bermuda Foundation, will facilitate a five-month after-school programme at Dellwood Middle School.

The programme will run from next Tuesday to May 28 and will provide football and futsal activity from 3.30pm to 5pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The programme, which will be available to 30 students, is based on providing a safe haven for those who would primarily leave the school grounds without adult supervision.

The students will be offered the opportunity to engage in weekly discussions, while being encouraged to engage in healthy physical activity, decreasing the risk of childhood obesity and or diabetes. Courtesy of the Bank of Bermuda Foundation and the Market Place Group, the students will be provided with a refreshment and healthy snack during each session at no cost.
