Digicel Bermuda will reopen its newly-renovated Church Street store across from City Hall, Hamilton today.The renovations will bring the location in line with the design used for the Court Street store which opened in April last year and which has been nominated for a design award in the Caribbean.The store has been expanded with a wall being knocked out, allowing the floor to be opened up to accommodate more customers.There is also more room for electronic kiosks, which enable customers to pay their bills electronically and to top up credit on their prepaid phones.In addition to the increased space, the renovated store features dedicated space for phones and the 3G+ mobile internet products.“Digicel is always striving to bring the best quality to our customers,” said Digicel Bermuda CEO Wayne Caines, “whether this is in our service, our network, or in this case, our stores.“With the modifications made to the Church Street store, we can serve customers more efficiently and help them to help themselves. We have streamlined the retail agent desk and incorporated electronic kiosks to reduce wait times within the store.”The Digicel Church Street store was closed for approximately three weeks while the renovations took place, with customers being directed to the now closed Mobile Internet Centre across the walkway and the Court Street store on the corner of Court Street and Dundonald Street.“It was important for us to still be available to our customers during while the renovations were taking place,” said Digicel Bermuda sales director Shane McDonnell. “Fortunately, we had another location that was only steps from our main store on Church Street, as well as a full retail store, BlackBerry Centre and Internet Centre in our Court Street location, which opened in April.”Opening hours for the Digicel Church Street store will be Monday to Saturday from 9am to 5pm.For more information visit the website at www.digicelbermuda.com
