A night on the town landed two people in Magistrates’ Court after they attacked a man’s car outside a St George’s nightclub.Lashunde Edwards, 19, of Hidden Lane, Pembroke, admitted the offence, along with Kori Hind, 27, of Hidden Valley, St George’s.According to Crown counsel Carrington Mahoney, the car’s owner, Diego McCallan, encountered former girlfriend Edwards at the bar during the early hours of May 23.Mr McCallan saw Hind and Edwards outside at 3am, when Hind asked for a lift home. Edwards asked to come home with him, but the court heard that the complainant didn’t want her in his car.After security stepped in, the two began kicking the vehicle, denting the doors, bonnet and trunk. The complainant drove away and reported the incident to police.The court heard that Edwards lost her job as a result of the incident.Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo granted both a conditional discharge for 12 months, ordering them to make restitution through the court for $7,895 in damages.
