Butterfield shares rise 3.86% in New York

A total of 50,985 shares of Shore Capital Group Ltd traded on the international companies listing of The Royal Gazette/BSX Index. The shares closed at $1.60.
Among the domestic companies, BF&M Ltd shares were down five cents, or 0.3 per cent, at $18.
There was also trading in 228,236 shares of One Communications Ltd, but with no change to the closing price of $4.
On the New York Stock Exchange, shares of Butterfield Bank were up $1.05, or 3.86 per cent, at $28.26.
The Royal Gazette/BSX Index was down 0.38 of a point, or 0.02 per cent, at 1,880.07, while the BSX Insurance Index was up 69.91 points at 5.12 per cent.
