* December 2004: A teacher tells that the school is riddled with mould and that it is affecting her health. Principal Kalmar Richards says the air quality at the school has been tested and given a clean bill of health.
* January 2005: Teacher Karen Clemons e-mails the school?s facilities manager Ross Smith complaining of red burning eyes and sinus irritation. She asks for the dust in air vents in her classroom to be cleaned.
* May or June 2005: Shadow Education Minister Neville Darrell approaches then-Education Minister Terry Lister to discuss the problem. Mr. Darrell says he was told it was being handled.
* April 2006: Karen Belboda, the then-chairman of the school?s Parent Teacher Student Association tells a Board of Governors meeting about teachers? concerns about mould . She says she was told it had been investigated and dealt with.
* April 2006: Ms Clemons asks in an e-mail to Mr. Smith if the air-conditioning units in her room have been cleared of mould.
* July 15, 2006: Microbiology Specialists Inc., an American laboratory brought in to assess the school, has a meeting with Mr. Smith; Chief Education Officer Joseph Christopher; Connie McHardy, chairman of the Board of Governors, and principal Kalmar Richards to discuss samples taken at the school.
* July 18, 2006: Microbiology writes to local firm TES Ltd confirming that potentially deadly aspergillus spores have been found in samples at the school and suggesting that ?urgent risk management? may be required.
* July 28, 2006: Microbiology writes to Mr. Smith urging the school to decontaminate the school over the summer and highlighting key areas of concern within the building.
* Monday, October 30, 2006: A meeting is held at the school for teachers attended by Ministry of Education permanent secretary Rosemary Tyrrell. Staff are told the mould problem is being worked on and that about 20 affected classrooms have been isolated.
* Wednesday, November 1, 2006: New Education Minister Randy Horton announces during a television news bulletin that the school is closing due to ?environmental health concerns?.
* Thursday, November 2, 2006: Chief Medical Officer Dr. John Cann tells a press conference that work on the problem has been going on for at least three months. Teachers attend a briefing on the situation.
* Today: CedarBridge remains closed with no alternative schooling arrangements in place for students. Parents are asked to attend a meeting tonight at 5.30 p.m. at Bermuda College.
