The prosecution of a 22-year-old man facing child pornography charges was yesterday discharged in Magistrates’ Court.The man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was charged with four counts of accessing child abuse material or child pornography. The offences allegedly occurred in May and July last year.The reason for the discharge was not given, but it is understood that the Crown can bring the matter back before the courts. That decision however must be made within six months.
