The 7th Mambo Nights: Bodies in Motion takes place at the Fairmont Southampton Mid Ocean Amphitheatre. Doors open at 8 p.m. and the show starts at 8.30 p.m. Tickets, $55 general admission or $70 VIP seating, and are available at the Lemon Tree, Music World, Portofino Restaurant, Brown & Co. or from the Sabor Dance School, at the Old Berkeley Cultural Centre or by visiting www.BermudaSalsa.com or www.boxoffice.bm.

August 16 and 17

The Mambo Nights: Bodies in Motion Instructional Dance Workshops take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Sabor Dance School, which is located at the Old Berkeley Cultural Centre on Saturday. While on Sunday at Horseshoe Bay, Southampton. Classes are either $20 per class or $80 for a day pass, which consists of five classes. Beach Party continues into the night.

Bermuda Maritime Museum, Dockyard: (1) Commissioner's House: The Exploring Voyage of HMS Challenger in Bermuda 1873. A selection of original and reproduction photographs depicting Bermuda, which were used as evidence in the scientific reports of the Challenger voyage, 1872-76. (2) From the Fay and Geoffrey Elliott Collection: 'U-505 Captured', an exhibit telling the remarkable story of the capture off western Africa and the hiding in Bermuda of the submarine U-505. (3) Steinhoff Magazine, High Cave: 'Prisoners in Paradise' : Artefacts in Bermuda cedar/stone/other materials created by Dockyard convict establishment, and prisoners of the Boer and World Wars.
