Victory keeps Vasco on top of the table

A brace from Rich Holden and a solo strike from Rui Furtado was enough to see Vasco stay on top of the league with their win over MR Onions.

Vasco stormed out into a 3-0 lead before half-time, with goals from Holden and Furtado, with both strikers using their pace to get behind the Onions defence.

Taking their foot off the pedal after the break allowed Onions to get more of the possession and create scoring opportunities.

They managed to get a goal back through Phil Anderson and cause some panic in the Vasco defence late in the game, but were unable to score again.

BAA 3 Robin Hood 2

Damian Mendoza, on his Corona League debut, scored a last minute winner to secure all three points for BAA.

Adam Shaw put the Wanderers ahead in a thrilling encounter when he latched onto a cross from Mendoza at the back post for Shaw to tap in.

Ten minutes after the restart BAA were two up through yet again a Mendoza–Shaw combination, with Shaw grabbing his second.

Hood got a goal back through Nick Ingham and Ionut Neascu equalised.

But the Greens took all three points at the death when Mendoza fired past the Hood keeper.

Tuff Dogs 4 St. David's 0

Tuff Dogs got four goals from four different scorers as they hammered the East Enders.

Aaron Browne opened the scoring in the first half and was quickly followed by Lamaul Crofton to give the side some breathing space.

Marcel Dill netted in the second half and Kenny Outerbridge rounded out the scoring when he fired home from the penalty spot.

Lobster Pot 5 West End United 0

Lobster Pot kept their second successive clean sheet as they thrashed United.

Two goals from leading goalscorer Henry Santucci and a brace Khabir Dill paced the side, who also got a goal from defender Stephen Palmer.

Pot now lie one point behind Vasco and level with North Village on 12 points.

Marlon Dill missed a penalty for Lock n Key early in the match that could have changed the complexion of the game.

But Mark Trott put Village ahead and former pro Kyle Lightbourne gave his side a two-goal cushion.

Lightbourne got his second and the side's third to complete the win.

Team Fire got single strikes from Irving Burgess, Dwight Basden, Mark Ray and Justin Robinson as they ran over Valley FC.

Valley's goalscorer couldn't be confirmed.
