Dennis C. Wilson of Spring Hill was arrested after the car he was driving collided with a water truck on Camp Road, Warwick, on September 18.
The 24-year-old's alco-analyser test revealed an alcohol level of 132 milligrams per 100 millilitres of blood.

The court heard that on September 26, Dudley Malcolm Butterfield was seen putting a liquor bottle in his jacket at the Modern Mart in Paget.
The Granaway Heights resident paid for a sandwich before leaving the store. He was stopped outside by one of the supermarket's managers, and a bottle of Bacardi was found.
At the time of his arrest, Butterfield apologised for the theft.

On June 1, Ervin Young was arrested in Hamilton for an earlier matter, and put into the back of a Police car, Magistrates Court was told.
Prosecutor Sgt. Peter Giles said that as one of Young's wrists was being cuffed, "he raised his free arm, clenching his fist, and began to swing it towards the officer's face''.
The officer raised his hand in self-defence, but Young did not hit him.
Instead, he swore at the officer and threatened him.
Young, 38, of Lookout Lane, rejected Sgt. Giles' account. "He raised his hand,'' he said. "I thought he was going to hit me. He was cursing me.'' Acting Magistrate the Wor. Michael Smith told him: "I'm going to give you a chance to learn to curb your tongue.'' He gave Young a year's conditional discharge.

POLICE APPEAL FOR ACCIDENT WITNESS POL Police appeal for accident witness Police are continuing to appeal for the driver of a white motor car who was involved in a collision with a female visitor on Wednesday afternoon.
The accident occurred around 4.10 p.m. on Malabar Road near Watford Bridge.
The cyclist suffered minor abrasions to a knee, arm and shoulder after she lost control of the cycle and fell into the road.
Police are asking the driver to contain P.c. Adam Payne at Somerset Police Station, 234-1010.
