Ms. Foggo is a graduate of The Berkeley Institute and earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology and Education from Northeastern University.

Ms. Foggo has devoted all of her adult life to Bermuda’s public education system. Currently a Biology teacher at The Berkeley Institute, she has also taught at St. George’s Secondary, Whitney Institute, CedarBridge Academy, the Community School and the Prison Farm. She is also a former Programme Manager at the Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute and is the proprietor of Dreams Realty.

Over the years, she has offered a “Girls’ Club” experience to young females attending high school, who then were able to consult with and gain first hand knowledge from professional women, concerning the skills, qualities and attributes needed to be successful in the workforce.

Ms. Foggo, a grassroots person, believes that at this stage in her life, she could better serve her community as a Member of Parliament. Having lived in her constituency for nearly twenty years, she understands and shares many of the sentiments of her constituents. She is poised to fearlessly champion their interests and concerns; one of the most urgent being the building of a medical centre.

Ms. Foggo envisions St. David's becoming an economically vibrant and self-sufficient community and would like to see it become an Indian Heritage Site. The implementation in St. David's, of a similar model to the Economic Empowerment programme, established by this Government in North Hamilton, would be beneficial in ensuring such an outcome. She will address constituents' desire for a community centre for both seniors and the youth, and other localized issues such as street lighting, road repairs, crime and drugs. She also will work diligently to ensure the success and continued improvement of the initiatives by this Government with the Southside Emergency

Housing programme.

In Ms. Foggo's opinion, St. David's can become a 'sister town' to the Town of St. George, thereby enhancing the island's economy overall and tourism particularly.

Lovitta Foggo is the proud mother of two daughters, Amne and Zayna Foggo-Osseyran and the doting grandmother of Ari and Ayr Cannonier.
