Darts team outclassed
Steven Hickmott was the only Bermuda player to win a leg during the nation's time at the World Darts Federation World Cup.
The Island sent a team of four players, Hickmott, Simon Carruthers, Gregor McQueen and Vernon Daniels, to the event in France.
In Group B of the men's singles Hickmott took one leg against Vincent Busuttil of Malta but went down 4-1. Carruthers, in Group C, went down 4-0 to David Miklas of the Czech Republic.In Group A, McQueen lost 4-0 to Malaysia's Tengku Hadzali Shah.
Daniels had arguably the toughest task and not surprisingly crashed 4-0 to one of the world's best players, Raymond van Barneveld of the Netherlands, in Group D.
In Group A of the men's pairs Hickmott and Daniels lost 4-0 to Kantele and Viljanen of Finland and McQueen and Carruthers lost 4-0 to Anderson and Veitch of Scotland.
In the men's team event round robin, Bermuda finished bottom of Group E which also featured Finland, Malta, Switzerland and South Africa.
