until next February after he was banned from driving all motor vehicles for a year in Magistrates Court this week.

McCal Roberts of St. John's Road was also fined a total of $625 after pleading guilty to the five traffic offences, which included three charges of driving without a licence.

After Police stopped Roberts on Victoria Street in Hamilton on September 3, they discovered he did not possess a driver's licence. He was fined $125 for this offence and $75 for disobeying a traffic sign.

On September 25, he was pulled over after failing to stop at the junction of Wesley and Church Streets in Hamilton. Again, he was found not to be licensed.

A further $125 fine was imposed.

Magistrate the Wor. John Judge said: "You obviously can ride the motorcycle, so for heaven's sake, go down to TCD and do your test.'' But when Mr. Judge saw the final two charges against Roberts, he retracted his advice.

The 21-year-old was once again pulled over by Police on October 22, this time for speeding at 67 kph along Crow Lane, Pembroke. Roberts still did not have a licence. "At that speed I'll have to disqualify you for one year, so you can't go to TCD now,'' said Mr. Judge.
