miracle.

Brothers Mr. Randy (Scorcher) Outerbridge, 30, and Mr. Jeffrey (Jakes) Outerbridge, 25, and their friend Mr. Geaige Minks, 26, have been missing since setting out on a fishing trip on Tuesday, January 25.

The three were heading for Challenger Banks from Riddell's Bay, Warwick on Randy Outerbridge's 21-foot Cutty Cabin Simply Red .

They were in contact with Harbour Radio until around 5 p.m. that evening but nothing has been seen or heard of them since.

An air and sea search covered thousands of square miles of water around Bermuda and involved Marine Police, Government boats and the US Navy helicopter and a US Coast Guard Hercules using hi-tech search equipment.

But high seas and strong winds since their departure have dented hopes the men will be found alive.

But the families continue to hope for the best. They are desperate for any news of the boat or the men.

The Outerbridge brothers' uncle, Mr. Custerfield Crockwell is acting as a spokesman for both families at this difficult time.

"There have been no new developments, the families are just hanging in there,'' he said.

"What we are really hoping for is one of these miracles where a non-English speaking vessel may have picked them up.

"There have been cases where someone has been found alive after eight or 10 days or two weeks. It would be a miracle but it is something we are hanging on to.''
