Wanderers cruise past pot

Commercial Division on Saturday when they beat Lobster Pot 4-2 to make it three wins in a row.

Alistair Smith led the Wanderers' scoring with two goals while Steven Irvine and Richard Carrera were the other scorers as BAA were up 4-0 at one stage before Dave Woodhead and Joe Barboza pulled back two goals for Lobster Pot.

Second-placed Forties picked up their second win of the season when they blasted Fire Service 6-0 with Derek Patience and Brian Fubler both netting two goals and Keith Fenn and Steve Cotton getting the others.

In the other Group A matches, Island Rangers and KPMG drew 1-1 and Robin Hood and Spinning Wheel drew 1-1. Keith Bremar scored for Island Rangers and Adrian Jennings for KPMG as Rangers were reduced to 10 men with the sending-off of Steven Berkeley for swearing at referee Gregory Simons.

Des Minors opened the scoring for Robin Hood against his former team Spinning Wheel only for Johnny Nusum to earn them a share of the points.

St. George's All-Stars moved to the top of Group B by beating Somerset Extros 1-0 on a second-half goal from Cal Rayner.

Second-placed Devonshire All-Stars lost ground when they were beaten 5-2 by Exiles. Antoine Cannonier, Carlos Madeiros and Marvin Hasan were amongst the Exiles scorers while Larry Benjamin got one of the All-Stars goals.

Prison Officers picked up their first win by hammering Coca-Cola 5-3. Gary Smith led the scoring with a hat-trick. Vince Minors and a James Braithwaite own goal accounted for the others. For Coke, Horace Simons netted twice and Wayne Dears the other.

Dandy Town suffered their first loss in Group A of the Alliance Division when Somerset beat them 3-2 on goals from Amel Thomas, Steval Arorash and Curtis Grant. Lionel Cann scored both Town goals. St. George's joined Town on four points with their 2-1 win over Devonshire Cougars. Duval Smith and Sinclair M.

Smith netted for the home team with Marcell Sheppard replying for Cougars.

Jamal Smith scored twice, one a penalty, and Sean Dill the other as North Village drew 3-3 with Boulevard.

In Group B, leaders Devonshire Colts thrashed Southampton 9-1 as Derek Lowe scored the lone goal for Rangers who also had David Brangman sent off. St.

David's beat Port Royal 4-0 on goals from former youth team players Sammy Robinson, Michael Tucker and Jermaine Fox with Charles Furbert getting the other. Robinson scored with a shot from 20 yards.

In the other match Hamilton Parish blasted BAA 7-2. Irving Burgess and Phillion Webb both scored twice for Parish while Zane Stowe, Antoine Darrell and Elton Caisey also got on the scoresheet. Wayne DeSilva and Allan Bean replied for BAA.
