Vasco climb to top of the table

Vasco went to the top of the Corona League table with this win over North Village.
Vasco dominated possession and controlled most of the first half with Rui Furtado scoring late on from just inside the 18-yard box.
Early in the second half, a mix-up between Village's central defender and goalkeeper allowed Milton Ferreira to steal the ball and find the back of the net.
From then on both teams made changes and it was Village who finished the stronger but couldn't beat keeper Troy Hall, who pulled off some fine saves to ensure Vasco all three points.
Team Fire 3 Tuff Dogs 2
League champions Tuff Dogs were bought back down to earth with this narrow loss.
A brace from Mark Ray and a third from Irving Burgess gave Fire a comfortable 3-0 lead.
Dogs, however, almost grabbed a share of the spoils when skipper Leroy Stevens netted twice late in the game.

Lock 'N' Key moved into second place with victory over Knockout champions West End United.
With the match swinging back and forth, it wasn't until the 37th minute that the deadlock was broken when Jay Smith put Brian Irvine in with a clear path to goal and he made no mistake.
Tori Russell then made the points safe midway through the second half when he nodded home a Shawn Yorke cross.
Lobster Pot 3 Valley FC 2
Lobster Pot came from two goals down to snatch a morale boosting win.
Valley went ahead early in the first half through Troy Simmons.
Craig Darrell soon doubled that lead midway through the half before Henry Santucci pulled a goal back for Pot just before the break.
Santucci was on target again midway through the second half, levelling matters before Jonathan Bean netted Pot's winner and complete the comeback with a close range header.
Pot now lie in third place.
Robin Hood 3 MR Onions 1
Robin Hood grabbed their first three points of the season with ths victory over MR Onions.
Hood took the lead through Neascu only for MR Onions to equalise through Phil Anderson just before the break.
Hood went ahead again with an own goal and Kenny Dill sealed the win with a last minute 30 yard free-kick past a helpless Mark Dunlop.
BAA 2 St. David's 1
Adam Shaw and Peter Coleman each found the net to give BAA their first win of the season at St. David's' expense.
OJ Pitcher grabbed his first goal of the season in a losing effort for the Islanders.
