Tourist brochure, Dockyard shuttle service and cruise set for Cup Match
Whether you’re a cricket fan or Crown and Anchor enthusiast, residents and visitors should have no excuse for not attending next week’s Cup Match celebrations in the west end.
For the Bermuda Tourism Authority has organised a free Cup Match shuttle service to Somerset Cricket Club in order to enable as many people as possible to attend the game.
The authority has also produced a Cup Match visitor’s guide, and organised two party cruises and a Beachfest Visitor’s Tent, for visitors looking to immerse themselves in the festivities.
A ferry shuttle will leave Dockyard for Somerset Cricket Club every hour on the half-hour between 9.30am and 5.30pm next Thursday and Friday, while a bus service will cover the return route every hour from 11am to 5pm.
A Beachfest visitor’s tent will provide complimentary refreshments between 10pm and 6pm on match days, and the BTA has also organised two cruises over the weekend.
A visitors’ sunset Swizzle cruise will leave Albouy’s Point in Hamilton at 7pm on Saturday, August 1, while a visitors’ non-mariners’ cruise also departing from Albouy’s Point will be held between 10.30am and 6pm the following day.
